HOW SHIPMENT TRACKING WORKS AT SOSASA LOGISTICS

Every Sosasa Logistics shipment is GPS-tracked from the moment it leaves our pickup point to the moment it is signed for at destination. Our tracking platform shows you the live position of your cargo on a map, the route it is taking, the speed it is moving at, and a forward ETA for the next milestone.

Behind the scenes, we combine in-vehicle GPS telemetry with manual scan events at major handoff points — pickup, hub transfer, dispatch for last-mile, and final delivery. Each event triggers an SMS and email alert so you never need to refresh the page to know what is happening.

For corridors known to have poor GPS signal — the deep swamp routes in Bayelsa, or convoyed remote corridors in the North — we layer manual operator confirmations on top of GPS so tracking continuity is preserved. If you ever see a tracking gap longer than a few hours during business hours, call our operations team and we will give you a live update directly.

How do I track my Sosasa shipment?

Where do I find my tracking code?

Your tracking code is issued when your shipment is booked. It appears in your booking confirmation email and on any printed waybill provided at pickup.

How often does the tracking update?

GPS location updates every 1–5 minutes depending on route and signal conditions. Status events (picked up, in transit, out for delivery, delivered) update in real time as our team scans them on the route.

What does each tracking status mean?

Picked up: cargo is in our possession at origin. In transit: cargo is on the road to destination. At hub: cargo is paused at a transfer point. Out for delivery: cargo has left the final hub. Delivered: cargo has been received and signed for.

Why is my tracking stale or not updating?

Tracking can stall in areas with poor GPS signal (e.g., deep swamp routes or convoyed remote corridors). If you have not seen an update in 4 hours during business hours, call +234 806 893 6919 and our operations team will confirm the latest position.

Can I get SMS or email alerts on my shipment?

Yes. Tracking-linked SMS and email alerts are sent at every key milestone. Make sure the phone number and email on your booking are correct.
